We look forward to giving you our personal welcome to the Spring Garden Inn. Our goal is to make your stay restful and your visit to Cape Cod memorable. While you are here just mention you saw us on the web. We will be glad to take your photo and add it to our guest book with your comments.

Davignon.jpg (22849 bytes) Arthur & Jean Davignon                      Middletown, CT

Artie and Jean are the longest standing guests of the Spring Garden. They have lived through all its owners and name changes, returning each year to enjoy the serenity and beauty of one of natures most spectacular creations. So what do they think?

The place is great. It is better than ever. Instead of losing any of its charm, the Spring Garden has become the essence of all we love about the Cape.

Mary Guidarelli & Mary Armstrong  Rochester N.Y Harrisville N.H.

This is no Mary, Mary how does your garden grow story. Mary (left) is a former owner 1979 -1984 of the Spring Garden. Only then is was called 7 Brothers Motel. Why? Because daughter Mary (right) had seven brothers. So if you have 8 kids running a motel is easy.  What do the Marys' think? "Call it what you want the place just screams Cape Cod. It is a bit of heaven on earth and we still miss it!

Andrew, Eric, & Karen Bower   Cleveland OH

The Bower's think this place is great. So much so they spent their whole last day of vacation writing our praises in a poem. Check it out The Ballad of Cape Cod. Missing from the photo is Elise

Just Married!
Bob and Judy Whitman of Strafford Connecticut

Bob and Judy are on their honeymoon and chose the Spring Garden Inn to mark the occasion. Actually this is their second marriage as they just renewed their vows to each other. As far as the Spring Garden they are old timers coming here every year since Bob was in diapers. As they say "We know a good thing when we see it." They love each other, the Cape, and of course us.

The Brightman's - Hayward's  - Muller's

For us it has been 30 years of being together and fantastic reunions. It doesn't get any better than this. Great friends, great times, and a great place. And Arlene says the muffins are great too!

A little wine, a little bread, and a 10 pound lobster and you are on the Cape

The Love's of Oakville Ontario - Sue, Matt, Todd and Chad

The place was just perfect, exactly what we were looking for to relax as a family. We even extended our stay as soon as we saw our room. Best of all it was a good value for the money, something Canadians need to be careful about.

Harriet, Pippa, & Rosie Newcomb               Tipperary Ireland

It's a long way from Tipperary to the Spring Garden, but the Newcomb's found it with a little help from Frommer's. Fionna Newcomb (Mom not pictured) said it was like a little piece of heaven. "We just loved it, our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer." Simon (Dad not pictured because of his celebrity status as a professor) said  it was the host's that caught his attention.

Sara Madigan, Mary Balsley, Peter Buscemi,Jeffrey Spinelli,  Makenzi Evangelist and other friends                   Clifton Springs, NY and beyond

We booked at the Spring Garden from a bride's list of places to stay while attending a wedding and discovered an ideal get-away spot to escape from the hectic world.

We could not have chosen a nicer place to stay.

Paula and Jim Beale                                     Jacksonville, Florida
Do not be fooled by peoples address. The Beals are authentic Cape Codders, whose families go way way back. Paula is from a fine Chatham family while Dr. Beale's grandfather was a Methodist minister who served various parishes from Edgartown to Wellfleet and his father was the beloved physician for the Town of Sandwich and an important medical leader for the whole of the Cape. They have chosen to pose for this picture in front of their favorite spot on earth.... the saltmarsh.

We come home to Sandwich every year to see friends and family. to hold important reunions, and to eat our fill of lobster. The Spring Garden is comfortable and unspoiled. It connects us to one of God's great creations - the Scorton River Saltmarsh. Quote Dr. Beale it restores my soul and renews the spirit.

Steven Price aka son of Bonnie and Ken Price      Alburtis, Pennsylvania

As we know parents make all the big decisions, but for Steven all Mom's research hit it right. I liked everything about Cape Cod and where we stayed. The place was awesome - the grounds, Ivy Cottage, the pool, the goats and farm, the hammock swing. When pressed for what was best however the Pepsi vending machine hit the top of the list.

Thank you very much for our wonderful stay at Spring Garden. We are all agreed that your motel was a delight and provided us with the perfect end to our touring holiday. We hope to return! with best wishes,

Miriam is the youngest and most frequent of our guest. She has been coming to the Spring Garden all her life. Her Miriam Holsbeck-Rubin with Mom Stacy and Dad Tim         Granby, CT mom says...

My daughter thinks this is the best place to vacation. Of course she has never been anywhere else, but take it from us Miriam knows what good is.

Galbraith.jpg (21843 bytes) Nancy Keith, Susan Galbraith, Kathy DeLaune           Tempe, Arizona

Susan is our most enthusiastic regular who knows the Cape better than most natives. She likes introducing its unique character to friends and savors  her return visit each year. Her freinds agree...

We loved the Cape for its many beauties, colors, and friendly people. Our stay at the Spring Garden was restful enough to last us weeks afterward. While there, the room and grounds always made us feel like we were returning home after our daily adventures. Arizona Poem

We searched the area for the best place to celebrate our happy event and all the family agreed, the Spring Garden Inn was the perfect spot. The grounds, the rooms, and the hospitality were outstanding. We are coming back!

It takes great planning to find just the right spot to celebrate a new life together as Mr.& Mrs. So what did the new couple think... The place is awesome. Absolutely relaxing and just what we wanted after a hectic week of wedding celebrations.

Soccer Stars
Declan Keefe  Forrest Iwanik

And the winners are...That's right they won the annual Memorial Day Tournament for the 14 year old division and they are only 13. All you teams out there watch out for next year. We of course had the pleasure of hosting the stars who stayed at the Spring Garden to relax and gather their strength between games. We'll never say we are the reason, but why take chances

Congratulations guys we hope you do it again.

We found this place delightful. The children enjoyed the grounds, the pool and especially the whale watch. Actually we want to come back and see more of Cape Cod. In three days we barely scratched the surface of all there is to do and see. We will be back to the Cape and the Spring Garden.

Evadne.jpg (16129 bytes) Evadne & Maelin Coye (Sisters)             Spring Garden, Jamaica

You guessed it, we chose the Spring Garden because it had the same name as our home town in the beautiful island of Jamaica. But what a delightful surprise, the place is magnificant and we wished we had reserved more time and extended our stay.

The Prendergast's Michelle, Neil, Nicole & friend Alanna        Kingston, NY

An Internet chosen vacation spot that met our every expectation for comfort, cleanliness, and just plain relaxation. It had it all and we did it all - Whale watching, exploring Martha's Vineyard, swimming, and even parasailing. We want to come back!

Garvey.jpg (18692 bytes) Sister Irene and Sister Frances                        Morristown, New Jersey

What we liked most (and there was a lot) was the view of the gardens from the big picture window in our room. It was just plain relaxing being so close to nature and the place was every bit of what we expected from their ads.

We enjoy the natural wonders of the Cape and the fishing is some of the best we have seen.

Jacquelyn Marie & Marjorie Pomery     California and Maryland

Don't be fooled by geography, we are really expatriates from Massachusetts and friends since 7th grade. We wanted to catch up with one another with a reunion in a place that felt like home and was pure New England. The Spring Garden was just what we hoped it would be. Relaxing days that started with good coffee, fresh baked muffins, and spectacular views. A piece of heaven on earth.

The Collin's Clan -  Stephanie, Kirsten, Fran, and Peter           Belfast, Ireland

Ireland is said to have the most beautiful of country sides in the world with a splendid array of greens. We believe the great Sandwich salt marsh is its closest rival. Each year we have come to holiday on Cape Cod and staying at the Spring Garden is the ultimate in relaxed serenity. It keeps calling us back.

Beverly & Dennis Corrie             Calgary,  Alberta

We are fussy travelers who research our trips and look for unique and charmimg places. When we received Betty's hand written we just new this place had personality and hospitality. And we were right, it was fabulous!  The Spring Garden is exceptional and gracious.

Sondra & Michael Finegold                   Andover, Massachusetts

The Spring Garden exceded our expectations  for a romantiic get away. The best treat was the relaxed atmosphere and conversations that occurred over the homemade muffins and fresh bagels..

We appreciate the outdoors and like to be comfortable when we travel. The Spring Garden is in a beautiful setting and cozy. Steve & Betty were delightful as innkeepers. They took time to get to know us and help us plan our day. Not easy for a family of six.

I stopped to look at the Spring garden on my last visit to the Cape and it became my first and only choice to stay. The girls and I just love the setting and our room.

Now living in Brookline, we originally came from Taiwan where we lived close to the ocean and enjoyed going to the beach. for family vacations. The Cape's wonderful coastline and fresh seafood remind us of those pleasant times. We give the Spring Garden Inn a "Thumbs Up".

Staying at the Spring Garden is like being in your own home without having to clean. We will be back.

Margie and Jim Fischer                     Libertyville, Illinois

We came to bring our daughters to camp and then took our own Cape Cod vacation. The Internet gave us the perfect opportunity to find the kind of place we wanted to stay. The photos and area descriptions gave us all the information to make our decision. The place was fabulous. The Spring Garden Inn is exactly what was show. As a matter of fact it was better.
